Albert Falls Winners: Gavin Richardson, Garth Liefeld, Grant Hewitt, Zander Potgieter, Julian van Zuydam, John Bestell, Eugene Potgieter, Carl Freese and Carl Talanda (winner of Kauai Voucher)

1st Place - Team Yamaha Panasonic - Gavin Richardson & Julian van Zuydam targeted rock piles, humps with brush and drop off's in 18' to 20'. We caught a small limit in the morning. We managed to locate bigger fish when the breeze picked up with mojo rigged Zoom super flukes by rotating the same areas we had fished earlier.

2nd Place - Team Ruff Thumb - Grant Hewitt & Garth Liefeldt, caught an early limit on Drop Shot on submerged stumps. Puzzled for the next 3 hours until we pulled up on a drop-off (17ft-30ft). Culled our existing limit throughout the day on a combination of Carolina rigged baits and Picasso Football Jigs in a Peanut Butter and Jelly colour. We were positioned on the top of the flat and fishing up the drop.

3rd Place - Team Aquaholics - Carl Freese & John Bestell
caught their bigger fish on mojo rigged Zoom super flukes - Black & Junebug - fishing a drop off at the ridge casting into 15' and fishing down to 30'. At the end of the day we decided to go to the yacht club to get out of the wind and caught our biggest fish - 2.38kg - on a white spinnerbait in very shallow water targeting bass that were feeding on fry.

4th Place - Team Lucky Strike - Zander & Eugene Potgieter
started on the ridge in the morning fishing a Bill Norman DD22 in 8' to 15' and caught fish weighing between 1.8kg and 2.1kg. Then moved onto a drop at the ridge and worked a jig and a
carolina rigged lizard (Bead & tungsten weight) from deep 25' to shallow 15' where we managed to cull some smaller fish. Unfortunately we lost a very big fish here that could have improved our position.

5th Place - Team Mercury - Jon & Ryan Swart
caught a 5kg bag limit within the first hour of the tournament starting, then culled throughout the day. Fished on the flats close to drop off's with
carolina rigged Zootoo's and Brushhogs. Also caught on Stike King sexy shad crank baits.
