29 teams entered the January Limpopo BETT event, held at Tzaneen Dam. With only 5 limits weighed in, one could clearly see that the fishing was very poor. Very hot weather for the past week had all the anglers hot and bothered. The water temperature was 31 degrees causing the fish to retreat to much deeper water. The winning bag was a dismal 3.1kg team caught by Team Wack & Stack ( Alan Bird/ Alexis Kuisis) however it was good enough to beat team V Max Pro Bass (Johnny and Morne) by 50 grams. Third place went to local Team Fire & Ice (Pieter van Dyk/Carlien van Rensburg) with a bag of 2.5kg.
